Intermedia Announces Support of Exchange 2007 & Exchange 2010 for DROID

DROID, which has recently been launched by its vendor, is unique as it supports Android 2.0.

Intermedia has declared that now mobile-users will be able to experience Enterprise-grade Exchange Services just like they experience at their workplace, as they have made the all-new DROID compatible with the Exchange Solution of ActiveSync offered by Microsoft. Intermedia, as the leader in the industry, is already providing Exchange solutions such as emailing, calendar management and quick messaging facilities to users of other devices such as Samsung Blackjack, Motorola Q, Palm Treo and iPhones.

During the exciting announcement made by Intermedia, Jonathan McCormick, CEO of the company said that there are many workers who need the same level of Enterprise-grade Exchange as they receive at their work place while they are traveling. With Intermedia’s support for Motorola DROID, more and more users using various brands of mobiles can now get the same Enterprise-grade experience during traveling as they get when they are in their offices with the use of their hosted Exchange services.

And on top of that, users also reap the benefits of two-way syncing as it gives them access to calendar, tasks and email. Intermedia mentioned that as the HostPilot Control Panel is offered through its Exchange 2007 and 2010, organizations will have a greater degree of protection and command over their devices.
